Another
story about prayer.
My
second child was pregnant
with her second
child.
She
had been "told by
the Lord" that
everything
would be fine at the time
of delivery.
On
her day of delivery,
though, there seemed to
be problems. She wasn't
dialiating right. The
doctor had decided it was
time for a C-Section.
So, they took her to the
operating room.
Still, I heald onto the
faith of the Lord's Word
to my daughter.
Her
mother-in-law and
father-in-law were there
and they kept saying
negative things that just
set me off, spiritually.
They knew
what she
had been told by the Lord
about this time. I was
"rightously
angry" at their
doubt.
So,
I took my oldest daughter
by the hand
and said
quietly,"lets
go."
We
went into the lobby of
the hospital to pray.
Finding an unoccupied
corner, we started
praying. My oldest
daughter just held my
hands and agreed with all
my prayer. (She
told me later that she
would not let her mind
touch the doubt that was
trying to enter.)
It
was about 10-15 minutes
that we prayed,
until I had a sense of
victory. Then we went
back up the elevators to
the maternity floor.
It
wasn't but about 5-10
minutes that my
son-in-law came out to
tell us we had another
grandson. He was in the
nursery and doing
fine!
His
partnts wanted to know
how this was possible
there had not been enough
time for a C-Section to
be preformed!
As
it turned out, the doctor
decided
"at the last
minute" to check one
more time to see if she
was dialating any more.
Glory
to God! She gave
"natural birth"
right there on the
operating table!!
Never,
Never, Never doubt the
word spoken to
you by the Lord!!! He
will keep it!!!!!
More
than that, never, never,
never let some
one elses doubt rob you
of your PROMISE!
